Darick Nordstrom is the creative force and continued innovator of the dental therapeutic intervention known as ALF Therapy. His passion for supporting his InterFACE community and his thirst for knowledge keeps our ALF InterFACE Conference on the cutting edge of healthcare.
Angie Tenholder has been helping Dr. Nordstrom develop resources for the ALF community by creating the ALF InterFACE Academy . Her experience in treating the complex patients with craniofacial pain and sleep disordered breathing has created a passion for utilizing ALF Therapy to address the root cause of dysfunction in both children and adults.
Dr. Dania Tamimi graduated with a dental degree from King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 1999. She trained at Harvard University, School of Dental Medicine and earned a doctorate of medical science (DMSc) and certificate of fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology in 2005. She is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (ABOMR).
She is a reviewer and an Editorial Board member for Oral Surgery, Oral Pathology, Oral Medicine and Oral Radiology (OOOO). She is the lead author on “Specialty Imaging: Dental Implants”, a new radiology book that bridges the gap between the clinical implantologist and the radiologist, and a co-author on “Diagnostic Imaging, Oral and Maxillofacial”. She is also Director of Education at the Institute of Advanced Maxillofacial Imaging (IAMI), the educational arm for BeamReaders, Inc.
She currently runs her oral radiology private practice in Orlando, Florida.
Charlie Beck has been working closely with the ALF community and is returning as an ALF faculty member. He teaches courses on the dental body connection and is an international speaker and fellow of the American Academy of Osteopathy.
He graduated from the Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2004. He was one of Pikeville’s first undergraduate fellows, staying an extra year in medical school to study osteopathic manipulation more in depth. Taught by Edward G. Stiles, D.O., F.A.A.O. during medical school, Charlie was given an excellent foundation for learning manipulative medicine. He is the first resident in osteopathic manipulation (called Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine/Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine) in the history of Westview hospital and in Indiana.
Nicole is a returning member of the ALF InterFACE faculty . She has been working side by side with Dr. Angie as well as closely with Drs Nordstrom and Beck to develop resources for the ALF community. In addition, along with Dianah Davidson and others, she has been able to nurture the professional relationships between the myofunctional and ALF communities
She has been an integral contributor to the development of BabyLase and a valuable resource for course development in ALF Genesis.
She is the founder of my NeoNourish, LLC and MyTongueology. She is an and integrative pediatric feeding therapist. She combines her foundation as a Speech Language Pathologist with Lactation, Cranial Sacral Therapy and Myofunctional Therapy to provide a comprehensive treatment approach to healing patients of all ages.
